Okay guys. I have come back from my high protein high fat diet having learned lots. I couldn’t come on here because there were too many pictures of sweets and I actually couldn’t eat them because carbs are the enemy. My sweet tooth is crazy. Learned that the hard way. As well as that depleting my carbs from 0-30g made me so emotional it was scary. This diet was definitely not for me.
Now looking back on my old eating habits of being a vegetarian. High carb from fruit and vegetable, and adequate protein. (Not enough to put muscle on fast but enough to maintain what I already have). What’s funny is that I look back, and I was so tired. I was sleeping for 9-10 hours a night and was exhausted during the day.
I’ve learned so much about food and myself in these last few weeks. What might work for one person, won’t work for another. And vice versa. I’m going to start a diet that involves the values of paleo that I admire. Which in whole is just eating super clean. Ill let you guys know how it goes. If anything, this will be the easiest to maintain because it won’t even be a have to think about kind of thing because it’ll be a lifestyle.

Update on my life:
1) I love being a personal trainer it makes me so happy and I just love it so much and yes that’s about it.
2) In the span of a week I completely 180’d my diet. I went from being a vegetarian (of 10 years) to being on the metabolic diet which is lots of meats and fats. I feel awesome so far. And I cannot wait to get absolutely SHREDDED. Hahahaha but actually I can’t even be on this blog because there’s so many pictures of fruits and vegetables and I am really missing them. Thank god for carb loading weekends.
